For Buyers

Is it free to visit a showroom?

Yes. Browsing, booking, and visiting are completely free for buyers. Some premium consult visits may have a small fee that gets credited toward your purchase.

Do I have to buy after visiting?

No. There is zero obligation. You're there to see the product in person and make a more informed decision on your own time.

How do I know the host is trustworthy?

Every host goes through ID verification, background review, and space qualification before being approved. Reviews and trust scores are visible on their profile.

Where are the showrooms located?

Showrooms are in garages, patios, detached studios, and other approved spaces — never inside someone's primary living area.

What if I have a problem during my visit?

Use the in-app incident reporting feature. Rekkn.ai has a support team and emergency escalation process for urgent concerns.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. Indicate the number of attendees when booking so the host can accommodate.

How do I get the product if I decide to buy?

After your visit, you'll receive a tracked purchase link. The product is shipped new directly from the brand — you're not buying the showroom display unit.

For Hosts

What spaces qualify?

Garages, patios, covered outdoor areas, driveway setups, detached studios, and enclosed outdoor structures. Primary living rooms and bedrooms are not eligible.

How much can I earn?

Hosts earn a fixed 10% commission on each attributed sale. Earnings vary based on products placed, visit volume, and conversion rates. See our For Hosts page for earnings examples.

What products will I receive?

You'll receive products that match your space type, geography, and preferences. You always have the option to accept or decline any placement offer.

Am I responsible if a product gets damaged?

Hosts are responsible for maintaining products in presentation-ready condition and following setup instructions. Damage must be reported immediately through the platform.

How long do products stay?

Each placement has a max dwell time (typically 60–90 days). Products are rotated based on performance. You can also request early removal.

Do I have to be a salesperson?

No. For standard visits, buyers are self-guided. You keep the space clean and accessible. For guided consults, you walk the buyer through the product.

How do I get paid?

Payouts are processed weekly via your connected payout account. Your dashboard shows pending and available earnings in real time.

For Brands

What types of products work best?

High-consideration, high-AOV physical products that benefit from in-person validation. Furniture, premium seating, dining sets, and home office equipment are ideal.

How is pricing structured?

Commission-based only: 20% of attributed sales — 10% to the host and 10% to the platform. No listing fees, no monthly minimums. Shipping is handled via GigaCloud flat-rate (brand-funded). FormPiper financing is available to boost buyer conversion.

How does attribution work?

Last qualified Rekkn.ai touch plus appointment validation. Standard attribution windows are 7-day and 30-day. You get full-funnel data from listing view to purchase.

How does shipping work?

Rekkn.ai partners with GigaCloud for flat-rate shipping. Shipping costs are brand-funded. Products ship directly from the brand to the host for placement, and new units ship from the brand to the buyer after purchase.

What if a host treats my product poorly?

All hosts must upload setup confirmation photos and maintain products in presentation-ready condition. Underperforming or non-compliant hosts are flagged, rotated, or removed.

Can I choose which hosts get my products?

You define requirements (space type, geography, climate restrictions) and Rekkn.ai matches you to qualified hosts. You can also review and approve individual placements.

What insurance is required?

Certificate of insurance, product liability coverage, and indemnification for product-related claims. Details are in the brand agreement.
